Royal Enfield Classic 650 & Scrambler 650 versions spotted testing
More variants based on 650cc twin cylinder engine on their way.
After successful launch of Himalayan 450 Royal Enfield is all set to launch few more products in coming months. The company has been delivering on its promise of launching one bike ever quarter with the Q1 starting off with launch of Shotgun 650. We should be expecting 3 more bikes lined up for the coming quarters. This time around the Royal Enfield Classic 650 & Scrambler 650 variants have been spotted testing again on roads based on the 650cc twin platform.
Classic 650: Similar in design with more power
The Classic 650 version is similar in stance and riding position to its smaller sibling and might share some components with the Meteor 650 that was launched in second half of 2023. This would miss out on the new console that was seen on Himalayan 450. Hence, this will try to give the riders the feel of classic but with more power.
Scrambler 650 multitasker off and on road:
The scrambler on the other hand has more off road focused design. The scrambler version also gets a 2 into 1 single exhaust which should make it lighter as well which is a good thing for those soft off road sessions. It will also get the Tripper Dash that we saw on Himalayan 450. Also, you would be looking at knobby tyres completing the overall look.
Other details:
In terms of power these would produce the same 47hp and 52nm with possible changes to tuning based on the nature and character of the bikes. Overall the lineup of Royal Enfield seems to be coming together slowly with more premium offerings.
